Abstract
From the beginning of this study, we show our comparative approach between the two artistic mediums of prose, namely the novel and the film. The film adaptation of the novel that we have selected for analysis is a great work that requires effort and theoretical knowledge, reading and rereading of the novel, knowledge of Albanian culture, tradition and canon. Our study is based on the inner world of the main character, and how he carries the idea of the writer and how that idea is transferred to the film adaptation. It happens from the Brazilian production, from the director and senior screenwriters to the culture and from the traits that create a small scientific dilemma.
Both in the novel and in its film adaptation, the character of Gjorgu begins to appear a clear path in the aspects of his bad and tragic fate and even repetitive.
The fact that he lived in such a region is part of the reason for his fate. In his character that is neatly preserved both in the novel and in the beginning.
