Abstract
The paper intends to validate the comparison of the body mass index(BMI) to basketball players. The sample included (N = 48) basketball players divided into two submodules (16-17 years old). The data obtained were compared with two different groups. In the paper-experiment two variables measured body height and body mass. Statistical descriptive parameters, such as the annual growth of these age groups, the annual change of the measured variables, and the body mass index (BMI) analysis have been calculated. Basketball players measured at body height and body mass have a higher value compared to other groups. The body mass index (BMI) shows that basketball players aged sixteen and seventeen, who are treated in this work, weigh within normal limits. Based on the reflection of this paper-experiment can be concluded the comparison of the body mass index(BMI) to basketball players produces an important link between them for the basketball game.
