Abstract
In this paper, is addressed the topic of intertextuality in Ismail Kadare's book "The Daughter of Agamemnon".
It has has been analyzed the presence of another text inside the book "Daughter of Agamemnon" , the links between the texts and the way the foreign text is integrated in the book, more precisely it has been analyzed how hypotext and the hypertext have been connected. Through the analysis of the texts, it has been revealed that the two techniques that stand out the most are the allusion and the citation, the second one stands out more.
The purpose of this paper will be that by analyzing these texts and the connections between them to be able to analyze the universality of tyrants and victims despite the time they lived in and the culture they belong to.
Its purpose will also be to help us discover more about human characters, social phenomena and to help us understand the crowd psychology and the psychology of tyrannical rule.
It will be attempted to find out what connects Agamemnon's daughter from antiquity and Greek culture with Albanian culture and the character of Kadare in the 20th century.
Through this paper, we will try to prove the fact that history and the past repeat themselves, that human characters are the same from ancient times to today. So in this way originality is lost within the texts because everything that can be said or thought has been said and experienced before.
