Abstract
The purpose of this research is to make people realize how important it is sometimes to switch off and just play. Here you will see that playing has many advantages and that it is always worth finding some time for a little game. The practical part deals with specific games for each skill: speaking, listening, reading and writing. There are also grammar games and vocabulary enrichment games. All games are separate and allow students to practice the part they are not sure about. Our research will help students and teachers incorporate more games into German language classrooms and provide an overview of learning with and without games. The purpose of this research was to make it clear to teachers how important it is to integrate games into foreign language lessons. From this research we proved that students who played learned much more than those who did not play.
