Abstract
It is well known that translating different texts sets special requirements on the translator and because of that the procedure of translating different materials, the translation of literary and strictly scientific papers is different. Unlike the strictly scientific texts, where in the translation, one should mainly take into account the credible teaching of the subject-logical content, in the translation of the literary texts, in addition to the first component, one should also take into account the pictorial and emotional content, primarily because such texts have artistic value.
That is why literary translation, especially the translation of literary genres into verse, is an extremely creative process. For this occasion, we decided to make a linguistic-stylistic analysis of the song “Mbramja” by the poet Esad Mekuli, written in Albanian and the song “Kvecherina” (“Twilight”), its translated version in Macedonian. We will make the analysis at the level of utterance (from a linguistic aspect) and at the level of linguistic signs (morphological, syntactic and lexical level). Of course, we will also refer to the sound side of the poetic expression itself.
