THE GRAMMATICAL NATURE OF THE MOMENT OD DISCOURSE, AS A POINT OF REFERENCE

Muhamed Reçica

Abstract

Each and every action, situation, event or phenomenon occurs in an objective temporal reality, therefore, in order to achieve the most efficient communication, the existence of these phenomena, which are the subject of communication, the speaker must present them as accurately as possible from the temporal aspect as well. While the nature of being “grammatical facts” is recognized to tense references, there is no way they for them not to be recognized as relevant language categories that need adequate treatment, confirming the real grammatical weight in linguistic theory, despite the tacit opinion that tense references, as instances or moments with defining functions of the temporal character of a verbal form, in the process of discourse have the character of a “non-linguistic entity”.
