The scientific journal Acta Medica Balkanica-International Journal of Medical Sciences-AMBIJMS is an official publication of the Faculty of Medical Sciences at University of Tetova. It enriches the mosaic of scientific journals that our university publishes bi-annually, which includes scientific articles selected from the fields of medicine, dentistry and pharmaceutics. AMBIJMS aims to be an open forum for the exchange of scientific research work and to showcase achievements in all fields of medicine both by Albanian academics and by scholars from the global scientific community. As a significant publication ranked alongside the most serious and trusted journals in the field of medicine, “Acta Medica Balkanica” continues to enjoy high acclaim from readers and academics alike, who consistently praise the quality and relevance of the works published in the journal. Work published in the journal includes original research articles, clinical practices and scientific reviews from prominent researchers, professors, and specialists, as well as health care professionals in the fields of medicine, dentistry and pharmaceutics from The Republic of North Macedonia and abroad. By showcasing the latest innovations achieved by local, regional and international academics and professionals, we advocate for high human qualities, dedication to the medical profession, and facilitating the exchange of knowledge and ideas while remaining true to the Hippocratic Oath.
